Progressive Explosive Lifting Program
Program Goal: To increase total body strength and muscle mass while promoting explosive movement and mobility for game-time play.
Level: Beginner to proficient.
Summary: Lead by Coach Mike, athletes will be utilizing the three main lifts, six ancillary movements, and various plyometrics. Each athlete will be assessed for explosiveness and strength prior to the program. The strength assessments will be utilized to produce individual progressive 6 or 9-week lifting programs along with nutrition guidelines. Each training day, athletes will report calorie intake and will be accountable for program recommendations. At the conclusion of the 6-weeks athletes will be assessed again to measure program results.
